Tidav est né à Paris durant l’hiver le plus froid de la décennie, le 15 décembre 1984. Il vécut son enfance dans un quartier populaire « Riquet - Stalingrad » dans lequel il voit les premiers danseurs hip-hop en France. Il y découvre cette culture et se passionne par la musique, le graff et la danse.
Lors de la première édition des rencontres urbaines à La Villette, en 1999, il découvre la compagnie Choream avec leur création « Epsilon ». Cette pièce a été un déclic artistique pour Tidav. Pendant cette période, il passe beaucoup de temps à Montreuil, ville dans laquelle il vivra plus tard lors de son adolescence. Stéphanie Nataf et José Bertogal lui transmettront leur savoir et leur vision de la danse durant plusieurs années. Il fera parti d’un groupe de danse « Yatsei » (ce qui signifie « ensemble » en chinois), avec lequel il fera plusieurs créations chorégraphiques.
Comme beaucoup d’autres jeunes, Tidav a passé son BAFA (brevet d’animateur) à 17 ans. Il a travaillé durant plusieurs années comme animateur dans les quartiers populaires de la ville de Montreuil. C’est en voulant aller plus loin dans la relation d’aide avec les jeunes, qu’il devient éducateur spécialisé par la suite et jusqu’à aujourd’hui. C’est pourquoi la question sociale reste une thématique importante pour lui.
Tidav travaille également pendant 2 ans avec Jean-Luc Bertrand, un magicien close-up, avec qui il apprend énormément en terme de captation et de réalisation. Il assiste notamment à la réalisation de deux DVDs de références: David Stone Vol. 1 & Vol. 2.
En Avril 2015, à Montréal, Syla lui transmet la passion de la photo et réalisent des projets ensemble depuis ce temps-là. Ils créent ensemble Yatsei Production.
Depuis 2016, Tidav organise l'Urban Films Festival Montréal, une compétition de courts-métrages sur le thème de la ville et des cultures urbaines.
Son travail est inspiré par les rencontres d’artistes et de photographes marquants, comme Denis Darzacq, Gonzalo Caceres Dancuart, Valérie Frossard, Daniel Lavoie ou encore plus récemment Little Shao.
Le 26 septembre 2022, Tidav créé sa compagnie de production de bouchées sonores (podcasts) qui s'appelle Dim Sound.

Tidav was born in Paris during the coldest winter of the decade, on December 15, 1984. He lived his childhood in a working-class neighbourhood called "Riquet - Stalingrad" where he saw the first hip-hop dancers in France. He discovered this culture and was passionate about music, graffiti and dance.
During the first edition of « Les rencontres urbaines » in La Villette in 1999, he discovered the dance company called Choream with their creation "Epsilon". This piece was an artistic trigger for Tidav. During this period, he spent a lot of time in Montreuil, a city in which he will later live as a teenager. Stéphanie Nataf and José Bertogal passed on their knowledge and vision of dance to him for several years. He will be part of a dance group called "Yatsei" (which means "together" in Chinese), with whom he will make several choreographic creations.
Like many other youth, Tidav passed his BAFA at the age of 17. He worked for several years as an animator in the working-class districts of Montreuil. It is by wanting to go further in the helping relationship with young people that he became a specialized educator thereafter and to this day. That is why the social question remains an important theme for him.
Tidav also works for 2 years with Jean-Luc Bertrand, a close-up magician, with whom he learns a lot in terms of recording and directing. He notably attended the production of two reference DVDs: David Stone Vol. 1 & Vol. 2.
In April 2015, in Montreal, Syla passed on her passion for photography and has been working on projects together since then. Together they created Yatsei production.
Since 2016, Tidav has been organizing the Urban Films Festival Montréal, a short film competition on the theme of the city and the urban cultures.
His work is inspired by the encounters of prominent artists and photographers, such as Denis Darzacq, Gonzalo Caceres Dancuart, Valérie Frossard, Daniel Lavoie and more recently Little Shao.
